📜 Rules

To keep HackMelaa 2024 fair, fun, and focused, please follow these rules:

👥 Team Formation

  • Teams must consist of 2 to 5 members.

  • You can form your team before the event or during the first 2 hours after kickoff.

  • Cross-college teams are allowed and encouraged.

💻 Project Guidelines

  • Projects must be built from scratch during the hackathon (no pre-written code).

  • You can use open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks.

  • All code must be shared via GitHub or Drive link in the submission form.

  • Only one submission per team is allowed.

🔧 Hardware Use

  • Hardware components are to be brought by the participants.

  • Bring your own spike/power extenders.

  • Internet and plug points will be provided at the venue.

🧠 Submission Criteria

  • Submit your project with:

    • Title & Description

    • GitHub / Demo Link

    • Video (max 2-3 mins) explaining your project

  • Submissions must be done by the deadline: 19th Dec, 10:00 AM

  • Execution & Demo (20%)

  • Presentation & Clarity (15%)

📵 Code of Conduct

  • Respect all participants, mentors, and organizers.

  • No plagiarism or copying other teams' work.

  • Use inclusive, positive language and behavior.

  • Any form of misconduct or rule violation may lead to disqualification.
